Many vehicles moving on the same road at the same time cause traffic jam. Besides, our traffic police are not sincere. They often do not do their duties honestly. The drivers are indifferent to traffic rules. They try to get more passengers stopping their buses here and there. All these things together cause traffic jams. Paragraph On Traffic Jam
Traffic jam refers to a long line of vehicles on the road leading to serious road block. It is a common picture of the major roads of Bangladesh. It is also seen on the town or even rural roads. There are some causes behind this. Firstly, many drivers are ignorant of traffic rules while some deliberately violate traffic rules. This leads to serious road block. Again, plying of various vehicles with different velocity causes traffic jam. The vehicles with high speed are sometime blocked by vehicles with less speed. Again, traffic jam is largely occurred due to thousands of rickshaws plying on the busy roads. Besides, sometime water clogged in the road leads to traffic jam. Finally, reckless parking alongside pavements and unhealthy competition among drivers cause traffic jam. I feel bored at the time of traffic jam. It can be removed by maintaining traffic rules strongly as well as making drivers conscious about following these rules.

Traffic jam means blockade of vehicles on roads and streets. Traffic jam is a problem of the urban areas. There are a number of reasons for traffic jam. Many unlicensed and unauthorised rickshaws ply on the roads and streets. Even many car drivers, bus drivers and truck drivers do not obey traffic rules. Sometimes they are seen parking their vehicles at any place of a road in an indisciplined manner which causes traffic jam. Again, some roads, lanes and by-lanes are very narrow. The roads and streets are often dug for development work. This is also a reason for traffic jam. Illegal parking, unauthorised shops and markets on the roadside spaces also cause traffic jam. Traffic jams, are regularly seen at the intersections of streets and railway level crossings. In our daily activities we cannot become fast and punctual because traffic jams kill our time. The patient going to hospital suffers on roads waiting for an unlimited period of time School boys and girls cannot reach their schools in time.
