 Dear Donn, 

My heartiest love to you. I hope you are quite well by the grace of Almighty. Now I will give you a description of a journey by train that I made in the last autumn vacation from Mymenshingn to Dhaka. I reached the station about half an hour before the departure (946 1G31) of the train. It was then a very busy time. Rickshaws, motor cars and other vehicles were coming to the station with passengers. After sometime hearing a whistle, the passengers stood in a queue (STI) before the ticket counter. I also stood in the line and bought a second class ticket. The right time the train came and the guard whistled and waved his flag. Everybody tried to get into the train first. After much difficulty I got into a second class compartment. The compartment was full to it's capacity. The train left the station. I looked outside and found the beauty of nature. The train was running through green paddy fields. There were jute and sugarcane plants here and there. They were tossing their heads in the breeze. The compartment presented a good scene. Some of the passengers were talking on various matters. Some were reading newspapers and magazines. Hawkers came up to us with their goods for sale. The train reached at the Chittagong Station at 10 p. m. I got down. The journey in my heart I bore. It gave! me much pleasure. Indeed it was one of the most memorable days in my life. I am well. তোমার প্রতি আমার আন্তরিক ভালোবাসা। আশা করি মহান আল্লাহর রহমতে ভালোই আছেন। ময়মনসিংহ থেকে ঢাকা পর্যন্ত গত শরতের ছুটিতে যে ট্রেনে করেছিলাম তার বর্ণনা এখন আমি আপনাদের দেব। ট্রেন ছাড়ার আধঘণ্টা আগে স্টেশনে পৌঁছে গেলাম। তখন খুব ব্যস্ত সময় ছিল। রিকশা, মোটর কারসহ বিভিন্ন যানবাহনে যাত্রী নিয়ে স্টেশনে আসছিল। কিছুক্ষণ বাঁশি শোনার পর যাত্রীরা টিকিট কাউন্টারের সামনে লাইনে দাঁড়ালেন। আমিও লাইনে দাঁড়িয়ে দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণীর টিকিট কিনলাম। ঠিক সময়ে ট্রেন এলো এবং গার্ড শিস দিয়ে পতাকা নাড়ল। সবাই প্রথমে ট্রেনে ওঠার চেষ্টা করল। অনেক কষ্টের পর দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণীর বগিতে উঠলাম। কম্পার্টমেন্ট তার ধারণক্ষমতা পূর্ণ ছিল. ট্রেন স্টেশন ছেড়ে দিল। বাইরে তাকিয়ে প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্য দেখতে পেলাম। সবুজ ধানক্ষেতের মধ্য দিয়ে ট্রেন চলছিল। এখানে-ওখানে পাট ও আখ গাছ ছিল। তারা বাতাসে তাদের মাথা নিক্ষেপ করছিল। বগিটি একটি ভাল দৃশ্য উপস্থাপন করেছে। কয়েকজন যাত্রী নানা বিষয়ে কথা বলছিলেন। কেউ কেউ পত্র-পত্রিকা পড়ছিল। হকাররা তাদের পণ্য বিক্রির জন্য আমাদের কাছে এসেছে। ট্রেনটি চট্টগ্রাম স্টেশনে পৌঁছায় রাত ১০টায়। মি আমি নামলাম। আমার হৃদয়ে যাত্রা আমি উদাস. দিয়েছে! আমার অনেক আনন্দ। সত্যিই এটি আমার জীবনের সবচেয়ে স্মরণীয় দিনগুলির মধ্যে একটি ছিল। আমি ভাল আছি. শুভেচ্ছা ও ভালোবাসা সহ।
