Computer is one of the greatest inventions of modern science. It is an electronic device that is designed to work with information. There are five maior components in a computer. They are the input unit, the output unit, the memory unit, the control unit and the arithmetic unit. 

Since the advent of the first computer different types and sizes of computers are offering different services. There are four basic types of computers - Pocket (palmtop) Computer, Laptop Computer, Micro (desktop) Computer, Mainframe/Supercomputer. 

The internet is a computer-based communication system. It has revolutionised our lives and has changed many aspects of how we work, live, shop, conduct our hobbies and the ways we form and maintain our relationships. Due to its global reach and unbounded fetter, Internet has become the integral part of business, recreation, education, personal life and social-networking. 

If a computer is connected to the Internet, it can provide information, communication and recreation instantly. The role of the Internet in the spread of knowledge and information is really amazing. To get appropriate information we just communicate in the appropriate address or go to a search engine like Yahoo, Goggle and find particular page containing that information. 

By using Internet students can go through several books from the libraries without going there. They can seek information regarding admission to different foreign universities. As Bangladesh is advancing towards digitalization in every sector, it is necessary to learn computer and the Internet. I also think we have to learn computer and the Internet along with studying the textbooks.

ইন্টারনেট একটি কম্পিউটার ভিত্তিক যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা। এটি আমাদের জীবনে বিপ্লব ঘটিয়েছে এবং আমরা কীভাবে কাজ করি, বাস করি, কেনাকাটা করি, আমাদের শখগুলি পরিচালনা করি এবং আমরা যেভাবে আমাদের সম্পর্ক তৈরি করি এবং বজায় রাখি তার অনেক দিক পরিবর্তন করেছে। এর বিশ্বব্যাপী নাগাল এবং সীমাহীন বাঁধার কারণে, ইন্টারনেট ব্যবসা, বিনোদন, শিক্ষা, ব্যক্তিগত জীবন এবং সামাজিক-নেটওয়ার্কিংয়ের অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ হয়ে উঠেছে।
